A small campsite at the foot of Mt. Fuji
A quiet campsite at 1,000 m on the Jurigi Plateau in Susono, Shizuoka. We host a maximum of two groups per night, and a lodge with a hot shower, toilet and kitchen is available 24 hours. A cool, relaxed base for cycling and hiking around Mt. Fuji.
Why stay here
- Only 2 groups per night – no crowds, plenty of space for your tent.
- Lodge facilities – hot shower, flush toilet, kitchen sink with hot water, fridge, microwave and electric kettle. (Sleeping in the lodge requires the private plan.)
- Cool summers – at 1,000 m the daytime high usually stays below 28°C, and much of the field is shaded by trees.
- Arrive light – rent a tent, mat, cot, chairs and more. Firewood and gas cartridges are sold on site.
- Wi-Fi and power – free Starlink Wi-Fi, and power is available.
- Luggage storage – leave your bags with us while you ride or hike.
- Dogs welcome – free of charge, and the whole field is fenced.

All prices include tax and are per night. Preschool children and dogs stay free.

Want to sleep indoors? Overnight stays in the lodge require the Private use of the whole field plan. With all other plans you sleep in your own tent or vehicle, and the lodge shower, toilet and kitchen are shared facilities.

Extra firewood and other on-site purchases can be paid in cash (honesty box), PayPay or Rakuten Pay.
Good to know
- Check-in 12:00–15:00, check-out 11:00. Please let us know if you will be late.
- We are open all year, but staff are not always on site. Please book in advance.
- The lodge has no towels, bedding or cookware. Bring your own or rent from us.
- Inside the lodge: shoes off, no smoking, no pets, no smoky cooking.
- Campfires must be in a fire stand on a fire-resistant sheet (no fires directly on the ground). No campfires in strong wind (5 m/s or more).
- Quiet hours from 21:00. Small handheld fireworks only.
- Please sort your garbage. Up to 4 designated bags are free; extra bags are ¥500 per 4 bags.
- The field has steep slopes. Please do not climb them.
- In winter, roads to the site can be icy or snowy, and nights are cold.

- About 15 minutes by car from Susono IC (Tomei Expressway), and 20 minutes from Shin-Fuji IC (Shin-Tomei Expressway).
- About 90 minutes (100 km) by car from central Tokyo.
- Elevation: 1,000 m.
- Entrance gate: 2.8 m wide, 2.85 m high. Some large campervans may not fit.
